At Royal Flush Plumbing, we keep your plumbing running smoothly from the inside out. Two of the most effective tools in our commercial maintenance toolbox are sewer camera inspections and hydrojetting—especially important for older properties like hotels, restaurants, and facilities with grease traps.

Real Example: Blocked Sewer Line at a mid-1980s Vintage Hotel
We recently serviced a blocked line leading to a grease trap at a hotel that was built around 1986. The building looked great—but the sewer line was partially clogged with grease and debris. Without intervention, it could’ve caused serious backups.

Step 1: Camera Inspection
We began with a high-resolution sewer camera, allowing us to see the exact cause and location of the blockage—no guesswork, no unnecessary digging.

Step 2: Hydrojetting
Next, we used hydrojetting—high-pressure water that scrubs the inside of the pipe clean. Unlike traditional snaking, hydrojetting clears the entire pipe wall, removing grease, scale, and buildup to restore full flow.

Preventative Maintenance Is Critical
Even buildings in great shape need routine plumbing maintenance. Over time, grease, sludge, and waste naturally accumulate—especially in commercial kitchens or older plumbing systems.

Regular inspections and hydrojetting help:
-
Prevent sewer line backups
-
Keep grease traps functioning
-
Avoid emergency plumbing costs
-
Extend the life of your plumbing system
